Shum, Dewan earn perfect scores as Stiles exits 'Dancing with the Stars'

Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Dewan earned perfect scores with their partners on Monday's Disney Night episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” while Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa were eliminated, according to ABC7 Los Angeles.

The eight couples entered the competition's eighth week facing two performances each: an individual routine and a group dance. Group scores were added to individual marks, making the team performances part of each couple's overall result.

The episode celebrated Disney on Broadway and aired Monday because of Election Day, ABC7 Los Angeles reported. Cynthia Erivo served as guest judge, with five Broadway stars making special appearances.

Shum and Jenna Johnson received 40 out of 40 for a jazz performance set to the Mary Poppins song “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.” Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy matched that score with a quickstep to “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast, according to ABC7.

Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach earned 37 out of 40 in their individual routine. Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov received 34, while Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik finished with 33, the same score as Stiles and Sosa.

Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas scored 32 out of 40, as did Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold, ABC7 reported.

In the group round, Team Wildcats earned 40 out of 40 dancing to “We're All in This Together” from High School Musical. Team Slay-topia received 36 for its performance to “Zoo” from Zootopia.

Stiles and Sosa left the competition at the end of the episode. ABC7 reported their elimination but did not explain how the couple was selected to go home.
